Nigeria to Reopen International Flights, Eases Curfew

Ahead of the resumption of international flights, the government has released the list of international airlines denied approval to operate in the country. The  approved airlines are expected to operate within COVID-19 protocols. The resumption of international flights had once been postponed before the September date was agreed upon. The government has also adjusted the curfew from 12 midnight to 4am, as it continues the gradual easing of lockdown measures imposed to curb the spread of COVID-19 in the country. Nigeria has recorded 125 new cases of COVID-19, bringing to 54,588 the number of confirmed cases in the country.
