Kenya Set to Relax Covid-19 Burial Rules as Deaths Near 600 Mark

Strict rules for the burial of Covid-19 victims will be relaxed to allow families accord their loved ones decent sendoff, the health ministry has announced. The ministry has further reported that over 600 patients are in hospitals across the country and at least 1,054 in the home-based care programme. Sources in the ministry of education say that schools may have a phased reopening by November, allowing Form Four and Standard Eight students back to school. The Covid-19 pandemic has put several college and university students in a tight corner even as they grapple with online learning.
