Nigeria First Lady Up In Arms at Daughter's Wedding Cartoon

First Lady Aisha Buhari is very unhappy at the way cartoonist Bulama Mustapha portrayed her in a drawing related to her daughter Hanan's marriage to Muhammad Turad, her spokesperson Aliyu Abdullahi has said. She was shown taunting Nigerians with the invitation and photos of the event, while they were drowning in a river of debt. Some Nigerians have said that the wedding should have been postponed because of the economic situation and the hardship that Nigerians are experiencing. Many have been complaining about the high cost of food and fuel and a hike in electricity tariffs.
