No Going Back on Nigeria's Fuel Subsidy Removal - Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has said that there will be negative consequences if the government continues with the business of fixing or subsidising the price of petrol. Buhari also told Nigerians to expect further increases in the price, following international crude oil prices. Buhari said that while his administration was mindful of the pain brought by the higher pricing, the Covid-19 pandemic has led to a severe downturn in the funds available to finance the nation's budget and has hampered  the government's capacity.
