Cameroon Plans to Rebuild Amid Raging War

The government and the UN Development Program have announced plans to rebuild the Anglophone regions. Since 2017, this area has been embroiled in a bloody war between national security forces and armed separatists. The new initiative has been named the Presidential Plan for the Reconstruction and Development of the North-West and South-West Regions. Since the announcement, the plan has received both praise and criticism from within the country and abroad, writes Maxwell Bone and Akem Kelvin Nkwain for African Arguments.
