Mastercard Foundation is partnering with Wemy Industries as part of the Mastercard Foundation #COVID19 Recovery and Resilience Program. Wemy Industries will provide PPE to health personnel, first responders, frontline workers, isolation centres, hospitals, and other relevant organizations around Nigeria

"Health care workers are at the frontlines of caring for all of us, safeguarding community health. We must keep them safe," said Reeta Roy, President and CEO of Mastercard Foundation. With the support from Mastercard Foundation, Wemy Industries will be able to produce and distribute "13 million surgical face masks and 400,000 packets of hand sanitizing wipes per month" to "directly reach many of the frontline health care workers in Nigeria," says Chidinma Lawanson, Country Head, Nigeria, the Mastercard Foundation.
