Kenya Ponders Peaks, Valleys of Covid-19 Cases
As the number of Covid-19 cases and deaths continues to rise, the Nation newspaper has observed repeated patterns of peaks and valleys. The patterns have puzzled experts, with many saying variations in testing and data reporting are their main drivers. According to Health Chief Administrative Secretary, Rashid Aman, It is too early to conclude whether the curve has been flattened, since there has been a limited supply of test kits available in the country. Kenyans have been urged to observe containment measures issued by the government, in the wake of increased political gatherings in various parts of the country and as businesses reopen.
