Ethiopia Leverages Digital Innovation in Fight Against COVID-19

The Ministry of Innovation and Technology, and the Mastercard Foundation have announced the launch of a 'Citizens COVID-19 Response Data Driven Health Informatics Portal', a platform that will serve as a single unified portal to integrate and publish information on government interventions on COVID-19 at the national and regional level, and facilitate information flow to citizens on all government COVID-19 responses. According to Mastercard Foundation, Country Head, Ethiopia, Alemayehu Konde Koira, "individual choices are key to any COVID-19 management strategy, but people need accurate information if they are going to make informed choices." “Trying to find accurate information on COVID-19 on social media is very difficult.
