The Pen Drops As Renowned Nigerian Poet J.P. Clark Dies

Literary icon John Pepper Clark has died at a Lagos hospital at the age of 85. He was popular for his poems Abiku and Night Rain which were compulsory reading for students of English literature across Africa. He was the younger brother of Edwin Clark, the former federal commissioner for information and South-South leader.
