Africans Are Avidly Awaiting Policies of Biden Presidency

Now that the U.S. election has been called for Joe Biden, with Kamala Harris as vice president, Africans are watching with a mixture of fascination, hopes and fears for what comes next. The new president-elect already has a strong team of Africa experts who have been working on a political transition for months. AllAfrica will be tracking policy deliberations and options in the weeks between now and the inauguration on 20 January. Kamala Harris is the first person of African heritage (except for the African roots of all humankind), to be elected vice president.
