Are Low Wages Leading to More Deaths by Suicide in Zimbabwe?

More government teachers are dying by suicide as the educators fail to make ends meet, the Progressive Teachers' Union of Zimbabwe has said. Takavafira Zhou, the union president, said the number of families of teachers hitting hard times is on the rise due to low salaries. Most teachers haven't been reporting for work citing incapacitation while the government has not responded to their demands.
