South African Govt to Deport Refugees in Cape Town

The department of home affairs has started the process of deporting 20 foreign nationals who were part of the asylum seekers and refugees who protested in Cape Town. The refugees marked one year in October since they started a protest outside the offices of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. They were then relocated to two centres in Cape Town, as the Covid-19 pandemic gripped the country, Tariro Washinyira for GroundUp.
