Biden-Harris Covid Advisors Named as World Health Assembly Opens

The U.S. President Elect Joseph Biden and Vice President Elect Kamala Harris transition announced their Covid-19 advisory board as the Ethiopian Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, opened the seventy-third World Health Assembly. Global experts in infectious diseases and Corona viruses are encouraged at the depth and range of expertise among the Biden-Harris advisors. WHO is leading a coordinated pandemic effort, emphasizing that no country is safe until all are. The United States is now the epicenter of virus spread. Although medical collaboration between WHO and U.S. scientists has been continuing, closer coordination between a U.S. administration and the global effort is essential to ultimate success against the Sars-CoV-2 virus that causes Covid.
