Kenyan Slums Hit By Severe Water Shortages
Residents of three slums in Nairobi county's Embakasi South and Starehe, have suffered severe water shortages for the past three weeks. The areas are Mukuru-Kwa Njenga in Embakasi South, Mukuru-Maasai and Mukuru-Kayaba in Starehe. Water shortages are one of Nairobi's perennial problems, with cartels manipulating prevailing circumstances for their own benefit.
