African Artists to Star in Covid-19 Vaccine Animation Series

Zimbabwe's Danai Gurira, Kenya's Fena, Nigeria's David Oyelowo, and Teni are among the stars that have teamed up for a new online animated series for ONE Campaign, a global health and anti-poverty organisation co-founded by U2 singer and philanthropist Bono, to raise awareness of the critical importance of global vaccine access in ending the pandemic. Pandemica is an animated series created to raise awareness of the critical importance of getting vaccines to all countries. The episodes highlight vaccine inequities and run less than a minute in length, some in English and some in French. The episodes will be released in several countries including Canada, the U.S., Nigeria, South Africa, Senegal, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and the Netherlands.
