Young Ethiopians Compete for the Chance to Scale their Businesses
Ethiopia's FDRE Ministry of Labor and Skills co- hosted the first National Agro-Business Ideas Competition (ABIC 2022) in partnership with Deutsche Gesellschaft fuÌÂÂr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and the Mastercard Foundation. The event saw 17 start-ups, led by 34 young graduates, pitch for a chance to be one of five enterprises receiving ETB 230,000 to scale their businesses. Read on.
