Treasury Secretary Yellen Talks Debt & Public Health in Zambia

U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen is in Zambia on the second leg of her African tour, a stop aimed at promoting American investment and ties with African countries.

On Twitter, she said she discussed with President Hichilema a range of issues: "debt sustainability, deepening economic reforms, furthering growth, reducing poverty, and combatting corruption and illicit finance." Speaking at the Zambia National Public Health Institute, Yellen called health security a key pillar of the U.S.-Zambia partnership. And she delivered an address focused on food security at the Green Climate Fund Agriculture Site.
