Protests as Russian Ship Rounds Cape Coast For Antarctica

Climate activists in South Africa are protesting a refuelling stop by a Russian ship that they say is ignoring a ban on exploring oil and gas in Antarctica, Vicky Stark reports for Voice of America.

Greenpeace Africa and Extinction Rebellion - organisers of the protest - has said that the seismic tests undertaken by the Akademik Alexander Karpinsky for the past 25 years, are harmful to marine life.
