Bus Passengers Die in Head-On Collision in South Africa

A head-on collision between a bus and a cash-in-transit van on February 13, 2023 left 21 people dead and dozens injured in Limpopo province, eNCA reports.

The Sowetan quotes provincial transport and community safety minister Florence Radzilani as saying said꞉ "According to reports, a truck that was overtaking another vehicle lost control and collided with the bus... 19 people died on the scene. Paramedics and rescue personnel were able to retrieve 19 bodies from the crash, and two lost their lives in hospital."
