Kenya Makes Trade Inroads In European Markets

Kenya's export of goods to Europe will expand, following the signing of the European Union Economic Partnership agreement on June 19, 2023, Capital FM reports.

Kenya is a major exporter of food and drink products, with around 20% of its overall exports sent to the EU. The government's signing of the deal with the EU, is the fastest one that Brussels has ever struck, writes Deutsche Welle.

The deal will guarantee duty-free access for its farm produce to its biggest export market - Europe.
