Ugandan Court Rejects Petition Against Anti-LGBTQI+ Law

Despite international criticism, the Constitutional Court declined to nullify or suspend the law, which imposes severe penalties, including death on LGBTQI+ people in Uganda. However, there was some acknowledgment that parts were inconsistent with fundamental rights.
