Women are paying an increasingly heavy price for the dangerously unregulated multi-billion dollar trade in small arms, according to a new report issued on the eve of International Women's Day. Delegates from Amnesty International's (AI) Stop Violence Against Women campaign, Oxfam and the International Action Network on Small Armspresented the main findings of the report,The Impact of Guns on Women's Lives, at a news conference today in Johannesburg.
