A British national has been killed and his wife kidnapped from a resort in the island of Kiwayu, Lamu near the Kenya Somali border. The married couple was staying at the luxury Kiwayu Safari village when armed men struck. Kenya police are treating it as a bandit attack although sources say Islamist group Al-Shabaab could be involved. The attack comes on the commemoration of a decade since the September eleven attacks in the United States that left hundreds of people dead.
