Gas Shortage in Kenya

An acute shortage of cooking gas, has hit several parts of the country, with several filling stations, reporting stock outs of the commodity. Oil marketing companies, have not received fresh supplies of the commodity, for the last two weeks, with prices having shot up by almost 100%, over the last one year alone. Dennis Otieno reports, on a situation that is likely to complicate, the lives of citizens, already overburdened by last week's hike, in fuel prices.
