Measles Outbreak Hits 45 Counties in Kenya

A measles outbreak has claimed the lives of at least 32 children in the country, this year alone. The number of reported measles cases is on the rise with the Ministry of Public Health confirming that 45 out of the 47 counties have reported measles in children this year. Health officials are now bracing for a measles vaccination campaign necessitated by the rise in the number of unvaccinated children.
