Namibia Faces its Worst Drought in 30 years

Namibia is facing its worst drought in 30 years and in the northern Kunene region, it hasn't rained for 2 years. The drought has affected one third of the country's population, with 300,000 people 'severely food insecure' and 400,000 people 'moderately food insecure'. The Namibian government has committed 20m US dollars to its drought response plan, but is also calling for external aid.
