This report was prepared by the American Bar Association Center for Human Rights, following its missions to the Republic of Angola in 2015 for the purpose of observing the criminal trial against journalist Rafael Marques de Morais. The report is based on the Center's findings after having observed the entire proceedings of the trial. It consolidates the findings of the Center's observers and presents preliminary conclusions on the trial's compliance to date with international fair trial standards.
