"The Role of Trade in Ending Poverty" examines the links between trade and economic growth, and the key constraints the extreme poor face in benefiting from trade opportunities. It discusses policy responses and implications for the WTO and the World Bank Group. WTO Director-General Roberto Azevêdo and World Bank President Jim Yong Kim launched the study at an event in Geneva on 30 June 2015. This publication is part of the WTO's 20th anniversary commemoration.
