Intelligent Light - Illuminating the Rio Games

Publication Date:
27 July 2016

Before we close out #DRONEWEEK from the Rio 2016 Olympic Park at sunset with a final synchronized, illuminated drone ballet, we'll take an aerial tour through Arena Carioca 3 where fencing and taekwondo competitions will take place. We'll see how intelligent lighting systems, provided by Current, powered by GE, are not only lighting the games, but transforming landmarks like Rio's Flamengo Park and a beautiful bridge in Florianopolis. We'll be joined by two lighting experts: Alfredo Mello, Commercial Leader for GE Olympics; Lanna Caram, Lighting Designer, Current powered by GE; and Radley Angelo, the Chief Drone Technologist for#DRONEWEEK for a live Q&A session.
