ANC MP Vincent Smith to Chair Political Party Funding Committee

Wednesday, ANC MP, Vincent Smith, was elected chairperson of the new Ad Hoc Committee on the Funding of Political Parties. The committee was established by a resolution of the National Assembly early this month to inquire into, and make recommendations on funding of political parties represented in national and provincial legislatures in South Africa. This with a view to introducing and amending legislation. Vincent Smith joins us from our Parliamentary studios.
