Water Crisis Looms in Beaufort West

A water crisis is looming in Beaufort West in the Central Karoo. The local municipality says it urgently needs 45-million-rand to drill more boreholes to stop taps from running dry. The town's main water source, the Gamka dam, has completely dried up.
