Water Minister to Brief Parliament on Drought Crisis Interventions

Minister of Water and Sanitation, Nomvula Mokonyane, has also been summoned to Parliament to brief members as well as all South Africans on her department's interventions to resolve the drought crisis in parts of the country. Meanwhile in Cape Town, store shelves are running empty as panicked consumers have started stockpiling water in anticipation of Day Zero.
