Mozambique, Germany Seek Improved Cooperation

Maputo, Mozambique — Mozambique and Germany have been holding consultations at outlining future steps to improve cooperation between them.

A release Tuesday from the Mozambican Foreign Ministry said delegations from the two countries met late March and discussed on-going and possible projects for the future.

It said the two parties agreed to step up cooperation in the area of rural development, education, and economic reform as well as the development of a market economy for Mozambique.

"Subsequently, more encompassing consultations would be held in the short term," the release said.
