Johannesburg, SA — Bafana Bafana's B-team made easy picking of Mozambique's national football side beating them 3-0 in a Cosafa Castle cup challenge played Sunday at Maxaquene stadium in Mozambique.

Pollen Ndlanya, Nkosinathi Nhleko and Clement Mazibuko scored for the South Africans who had been coached by Shakes Mashaba, coach of the Under-23 national squad.

Senior Bafana players were not available as they are preparing to take on Zimbabwe in a world Cup qualifier on Saturday.

Mozambique failed to reply to the onslaught by the visitors whose determined charges are gunning for inclusion in the senior Bafana side.

Striker Ndlanya who plays for Orlando Pirates has been trying to regain his place in the A-team for nearly a year. He was dropped from the side after he quit his Turkish team and returned to South Africa.

Only two of the players selected for Saturday's match against Zimbabwe is locally based.

Bafana have assembled a galaxy of international stars that ply their trade in top leagues all over the world.

Most of them played in the 1-0 loss to Italy last week.
