Cameroon Plays Spain In Olympic Soccer Final

Cameroon will play Spain for the Olympic soccer final after defeating Chile 2-1 in Melbourne on Tuesday.

The Junior Lions secured their place in the final in the dying minutes of the game when Lauren Etame Mayer converted a penalty.

All the scoring came in the final 15 minutes of the game. Chile scored after 78 minutes - through an own goal allowed by Patrice Abanda of Cameroon. But Patrick Mboma equalized after 84 minutes, and Lauren's clincher came after 89 minutes.

Spain defeated the United States 3-1 in Sydney, leaving it to the women's team to carry Americans' hopes into a final. The women's final will be be played between Norway and the U.S.
