The Making Finance Work for Africa Partnership Secretariat (MFW4A) on Monday, 24 May 2010, launched its web site: www.mfw4a.org in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire.

The event took place ahead of the AfDB Annual Meetings scheduled to take place from27-29 May in the Ivorian capital. MFW4A, whose secretariat is being hosted by the AfDB, is an initiative that aims at supporting economic growth efforts by African countries by encouraging and facilitating the financial sector's development.

The website is a recent information platform on this sector, providing in-depth information by subject and country, commentaries and reports by specialized African media organizations.
