Experts Discuss ECOWAS Cdp Data Content, Roadmap for Donors' Round Table

Cotonou - Benin — A regional consultative meeting has ended in Cotonou, Republic of Benin, on the design of format and content of the ECOWAS Development Programme (CDP) project datasheets and modalities for analysing the project datasheets.

Participants also discussed the content of the draft CDP Regional Document and made suggestions for improvement and equally examined a roadmap for the preparation of a donors' round table for financing the CDP.

In addition to experts from the ECOWAS Commission, the 16-18 April 2013 meeting was also attended by representatives of intergovernmental organizations and partner institutions such as the ECOWAS Bank for Industrial Development (EBID), the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA) Commission, and the West African Development Bank (BOAD).

The meeting was organized by the ECOWAS Commission, among other aims, to discuss the key tools and define the framework for collecting relevant information on priority projects and programmes identified under the CDP.
