Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire — The African Development Bank Group is hosting the International Financial Institutions (IFIs) Working Group meeting on Information Disclosure and Stakeholder Engagement to be held at the Bank's Headquarters in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, from November 10-11, 2016.
This meeting is being organized by the Bank's Disclosure and Access to Information team in the Secretary General's Office. The goal is to bring the working group together in Africa for networking, sharing policy implementation experience and to engage in roundtable discussions on vital issues pertaining to the disclosure of and access to information at the institutional level and stakeholder engagement at the project level in various IFIs.
Participants from various multilateral development banks (MDBs) and IFIs, including the World Bank (WB), International Finance Corporation (IFC), Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC), Asian Development Bank (ADB), Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), European Investment Bank (EIB) and European Stability Mechanism (ESM), are expected to participate in the meetings.
