Senegal, ECA and NEPAD to Launch Infrastructure Investment Tool in Dakar

Dakar — A global tool designed to increase private sector investment in Africa's transboundary infrastructure will be unveiled in Dakar on 15 December at the King Fahd Hotel.

The tool, "16: Infrastructure Projects for African Integration" was produced by the Economic Commission for Africa and NEPAD Agency at the request of President Macky Sall of Senegal

It contains a profile and status report of all the 16 projects adopted by African Heads of State at the Dakar Financing Summit for Africa's Infrastructure in June 2014 as well as an abridged version of the ECA and NEPAD agency's report on Africa's domestic resource potential.

Senior government officials, representatives of embassies and international organizations are expected.
