The Bank's Committee on Operations and Development Effectiveness (CODE) has approved on 7 July 2020, the publication of the draft report on the third review of the Independent Review Mechanism (IRM) prepared by Savanas E Enseadas LDA, an independent consultant firm.

The draft report will be posted to the Bank's website and circulated to different networks and platforms. Civil society organizations, experts, people from academia and individuals with interest in accountability in general and independent accountability mechanisms in particular, will have 45 calendar days to review and provide their inputs and comments on the draft report.

Savanas E Enseadas LDA, which has been carrying out the third review of the IRM of the African Development Bank Group since December 2019, is a development strategy and business solutions firm registered in Portugal in 2016, with its headquarters in Lisbon. It was selected to conduct this assignment through a competitive bidding process.
