The African Development Bank and the Global Centre on Adaptation will host an information session on the recently launched Africa Adaptation Acceleration Programme Youth Adaptation Solution Challenge.

The virtual session, scheduled for Monday, September 20, 2021 at 12pm GMT, invites representatives of interested youth-led enterprises, innovators and entrepreneurs to learn more about the challenge and to understand the application process. Participants will also have a chance to pose questions to the implementing organisations.

The YouthAdapt Challenge offers young African entrepreneurs in climate adaptation and resilience, the opportunity to participate in a competition where they can win business grants of up to $100,000 as well as a chance to develop their ventures in form of 12 months of business support and a mentorship and acceleration program.

The speakers for the session include Anthony Nyong, Regional Director, Global Centre on Adaptation and Tapera Muzira, Coordinator Youth for Jobs in Africa at the African Development Bank.
