Gambia: Bah Signs Book of Condolence As He Attends Queen's Funeral

The minister of Tourism and Culture, Hamat N.K. Bah on Sunday 18 September 2022 signed a Book of Condolence in memory of HRH Queen Elizabeth II at Lancaster House in the UK.

Mr. Bah in the UK to attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II - who died, aged 96 as the British longest serving monarch.

"We attended the church service in Westminster Abbey Central London and there were leaders all over the world," Mr. Bah told The Point. "The entire members of the Royal family were in attendance," he added.

Minister Bah who attended the grand funeral event on behalf of President Adama Barrow and The Gambia met scores of world leaders including presidents of the U.S., South Africa, Senegal, Togo, Gabon, Ghana, France, Brazil, Pakistan Prime Minister and many leaders.

"Yesterday, I met the King, Prince William, wife of the King, Kenyan President and many others."
