Nigeria: 2023 - We'll Shock the Whole System - YPP Candidate

3 October 2022

The presidential candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) Malik Ado-Ibrahim, has said that the party will shock the whole system during the 2023 general elections.

Ado-Ibrahim stated this during an interview on Channels TV's Politics Today.

He said YPP's structure is different from all other political parties,' saying the intention of the party is to communicate directly to the people.

The presidential candidate added that over 100 million young Nigerians are ready to go and vote for a leader they can believe in.

He said, "I believe with what YPP wants to do, we want to take the message to the people. We want them to have dialogue with the leadership. That is the structure we want to build. It's not the kind of a process you put up and said we here are going to win and that is it. We believe that we are going to shock the whole system in 2023.

"The things have never changed; everybody does the same thing since 1999 to date. We have the best and brightest coming forward and we intend to show that by communicating directly to the people, our structure is different. Our structure is the structure of the people, young Nigerians; more than a 100 million people that are ready to go and vote for a leader they can believe in."
