What: Climate Investment Funds (CIF) Learning Event

Who: African Development Bank, Climate Investment Funds and Government of Côte d'Ivoire

When: Monday, 6 March 2023, 9 am to 5 pm GMT

Where: Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, and online

The Climate Investment Funds (CIF), the Government of Côte d'Ivoire, and the African Development Bank Group will hold a hybrid session to promote knowledge-sharing and to broker lessons from 15 years of CIF's interventions in Africa. The event will focus on experiences from the Forest Investment Program and the Pilot Program for Climate Resilience and preview CIF's Nature, People, and Climate Investment Program.

It will bring together participants from CIF partner governments, contributor countries, the private sector, civil society, local community groups, and multilateral development banks.

The event will provide a forum for African countries to showcase innovations and outcomes and discuss challenges in implementing sustainable forestry, climate resilience, and nature-based solutions. Participants will focus on identifying the most useful lessons for CIF countries that will design and implement projects under the Nature, People, and Climate Investment Program.
