Kenya: Parts of the Country Experience Power Blackout Amid Pounding Rain

Heavy rainfall is causing disruption in various parts of the county, with rivers feeding into Lake Victoria at higher levels than usual.

Nairobi — Kenya Power says various parts of the country are experiencing blackouts due to the ongoing pounding rains.

In a statement, the power utility company indicated that areas affected include Kitengela, Ngong, Kamiti, Juja, Ruaraka and Ruiru.
