Liberia: LFA Montserrdo County District League Kicks Off Today

Monrovia — The much-publicized Montserrdo County electoral districts league will officially kicks-off at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium with two games on today 30 June.

Districts Six and Two will open the 2023 edition at 2:00PM and Districts Nine and 13 will close the day's action at 4:00PM.

According to the fixture of the league on day two the league will move to the Tusa field with three games on 1 July.

In the early kickoff it will be Districts One and 17 battling for supremacy while Districts Four and 11 will battle at 2:00PM.

Districts Five and 10 will draw the curtains down at 4:00PM.

On day three football actions will return to the Antoinette Tubman Stadium on 2 July.

Districts Seven and 12 will face off in a lunch time kick-off and Districts Eight will take on 14 at 2:00PM.

The rivalry between New Kru Town (District 16) and Logan Town (District 15) will be renewed at 4:00PM.

The Liberia Football Association through its competition committee released the official fixture ahead of the crucial Montserrdo County district league with Zone C. Described as the zone of death.

Currently, the seventeen districts are now concluding preparations for the tournament while the Final shortlisted 25 players of each district have been completed and release to public.

According to the LFA's fixture, zone of death, Zone C. consist of Districts 3, 8, 14, 15 and 16 respectively while Zone D has Districts 1, 4, 11 and 17.

At the same time, Zone A will see Districts such as 2, 6, 9 and 13 while Zone B has Districts 5, 7, 10 and 12 respectively.
