Speaking at Kool FM, Allen Brown says that every Liberian family must own an investment property. He says that his government will ensure that this happens, and ownership will compel the creation of a middle class. Brown says, "when the economic boom happens, the one thing that we cannot afford to happen is for the country to rise, yet the people fall."

Other countries have economic policies that put their citizens into their own homes. We can no longer play catch up. We must do more. We must get ahead.

My plan for each family to qualify for this investment property program addresses so many things. It puts our Liberian families in their own homes. It creates a path for Liberians in the diaspora to return to Liberia and have a starting point. In real time, it alleviates an issue, seemingly, almost everyone is in court because of a land or property issue.

People won't have to squat on property that they do not own because now they have a pathway to property ownership. It creates wholesome communities. It creates jobs. More importantly, it puts us in a position in which we dominate a major industry, the housing industry.

I am not only putting each Liberian family in a home; i am making sure that they own an investment property.

This investment property program will transform Liberia into a middle income country. And don't be surprised when other nations adapt it.
