Nigeria: Uzodimma's Appointment - APC 'Ll Soon Take Over South East - Oduah

Former Minister of Aviation, Sen. Stella Oduah has predicted that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will soon take over all the states of the South East.

The former Minister who recently joined the the APC hailed the appointment of Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State as the coordinator of APC activities in the zone, adding that the Governors efforts in bringing federal presence and development to the region will further endure the people to the APC.

The former Minister who spoke while addressing the Igbo Business Community in Abuja at the weekend, also applauded President Tinubu for his manifest commitment towards the infrastructural development of the South East, as well as the recognition, acceptance and inclusion of the region in his administration.

Oduah commended the efforts of Tinubu so far, saying the policy trust of the administration has been practical, methodical and strategically geared towards unlocking of the nation's productive potentials and reigniting creativity with huge employment opportunities in all spheres for innovative Nigerians, particularly the youths.

According to her, "President Tinubu is a listening leader and silent achiever. He is not given to propaganda and showboating. He is focused on the mandate, and his achievements are non-speculative but real and verifiable."

On Party activities, Senator Oduah stressed that the appointment of Governor Hope Uzodimma has further endeared the South East to the APC given Governor Uzodimma's popularity in the region due to his achievements in government adding that with him as APC coordinator in the South East, the Party will further penetrate and take complete leadership of the region in the next round of elections.

"I joined the APC because of the appointment of Governor Uzodimma as the Coordinator of the Party in the South East and his ability to bring federal presence and development to the South East. Governor Uzodimma has made the South East to embrace the APC. Many more leaders in the southeast are joining the APC because of him", Oduah said.

She insisted that the South East has a lot to benefit from a government which values, promotes and supports creativity, quest for productivity and inclusiveness, adding that that is why the region has embraced President Tinubu and the APC.
