On the sidelines of its 2024 Annual Meetings in Nairobi, the African Development Bank Group will hold a session on Engaging Civil Society in shaping Africa's transformation and the Reforms of the Global Financial Architecture on Friday, the 31st of May 2024.

The event is expected to provide a forum for the dynamic exchange of ideas and foster collaboration between civil society and key decision-makers to drive a more equitable and sustainable future for Africa. Participants will also have the opportunity to contribute their expertise and advocate for solutions that address Africa's pressing challenges.

In partnership with the Bank-Civil Society Committee, the Bank Civil Society Coalition on Climate Change and Energy, the African Center for Economic Transformation, Afrobarometer, and the African Union Economic Social and Cultural Council are joining forces to harness collective expertise and advocacy to drive a transformation that is socially inclusive, environmentally responsible, and economically sustainable for the continent.
