Nigeria: Davido Ends Feud With Pinnick, Invites Ex-NFF Boss to His Wedding

Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido has invited a former Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) chairman, Amaju Pinnick, to his wedding.

This development was made known in a TikTok video posted by Julie Pinnick, wife of the the ex-NFF boss. The video shows Davido personally extending a wedding invitation to Pinnick and his family.

Recall that Davido had announced that he and his fiancée Chioma Rowland were set to formally tie the knot on June 25, 2024 in Lagos.

LEADERSHIP also recalls that in October 2023, Pinnick sued Davido and his music label, DMW, for alleged breach of contract after Davido failed to perform at a concert in Warri, Delta State, despite receiving payment upfront.

According to Pinnick, Davido was paid $94,600 for the "Warri Again" concert, along with an additional $18,000 to cover a fee for chartered plane. However, Davido never showed up for the event.

The situation escalated when Davido responded by mocking Pinnick, leading to a N2.3 billion lawsuit against the singer.

In March, both parties agreed to an out-of-court settlement, paving the way for reconciliation.

However, in the TikTok video, Julie captioned it "Let love lead....Wishing Chioma and David a beautiful future together forever."

She also expressed her delight at meeting Chioma for the first time, calling her "such a beautiful girl."
